I am directed by the Comptroller and Auditor

General to transmit, for the information of the Secre-

tary of State, a copy of the Annual Account of the

Treasurer of Hong Kong for the year 1909, to which is

appended the certificate of the Comptroller and Auditor

General together with copies of the Statement of Assets

and Liabilities of the Colony on 31st December 1909

prepared by the Treasurer and in this Department res-

pectively.

2. I am at the same time to present the Report

of the Comptroller and Auditor General and to request

that the Detailed Statements of Revenue and Expenditure.

herewith transmitted, being in original, may be retum-

ed.
